General Description: 

To provide a range of services that ensures the successful implementation of the clients Software Knowledge Management projects. 

Key Tasks: 
Assist clients around the UK and potentially abroad to implement the clients Software. 
Define the project, key milestones, scope and targets. 
Provide business and systems consultancy aligning the application to the clients operation. 
Configure the application to satisfy the different needs of the client. 
Make software changes to the customer's application at a level appropriate to ability 
Support the client throughout the implementation and live phases. 
Work with Project Manager to help manage the project ensuring tasks are completed and scope is controlled. 
Liaise with the clients teams to ensure high degree of client satisfaction is achieved. 

Candidate Profile: 
The individual will have at least 5 years' experience of delivering and coordinating complex IT change management projects. 
Experience of accounting systems would be advantageous. They will be technically competent, or have a strong learning aptitude in this area, and have proven experience and the ability to demonstrate: 

Demonstrate experience and skills in business analysis and requirement gathering 
Ability to convert technical requirements to practical software solutions 
Prior practical experience and interest in development using web and SQL technologies 
Strong people and communication skills. 
The ability to build a network of relationships at all levels within an organisation. 
Being confident and respected by colleagues and clients. 
Possessing gravitas and credibility. 
Being strong and resourceful when necessary. 
Having a proven ability to confront, negotiate with and influence people up to Director level. 

The successful candidate will be lively, bright, intelligent and personable. They will be articulate, have excellent written and 
verbal communication skills, be enthusiastic, have strong initiative, be people focused, have a strong personality and be a 
finisher. A 'hands-on' approach to dealing with technical and project related issues is a necessity. 

Key Experiences: 
Implementing complex IT change management projects. 
Practical experience of using SQL Server Management Studio including writing database queries 
Experience of using some of the following development technologies; ASP, ASPX, HTML, VB, VBA 
Communicating credibly and sympathetically at all levels of a business. 
Understanding of client business drivers and what constitutes satisfaction. 
Understanding of key applications (intranet, CRM, financial, MS Office etc.) 
Successfully delivering against targets. 
Appreciation of the potential commercial value of successful projects. 
Experience of current project management techniques (e.g. PRINCE 2) is not essential
