Communications Manager

Sobi has a growing international presence with an expanding products portfolio within rare diseases and speciality pharmaceutical products. One important step in this growth path is expanding the awareness and presence of Sobi among external stakeholders both online and offline. We are therefore looking to extend our team with a Communications Manager, with an external and digital communications focus. The position will be based in Europe, preferably in London.

This new team member, reporting directly to the Global Head of Communications, will be responsible for supporting and developing Sobi’s integrated communication and engagement programmes, in particular from a digital perspective, as well as written, printed, and other external communications for the company. This includes developing and integrating content across all media to ensure that a consistent, compelling vision of the company is evident for external stakeholders and that Sobi is a visual and recognised company.

The person:

• Degree educated, with at least a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field, possible with an additional business qualification such as an MBA
• At least 7-10 years experience within the field, including experience supporting an international organisation using a variety if communications approaches
• Fluent English
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Experience in all forms of written communication, from business media news releases to executive talking points.
• The position requires strong analytical skills, a strategic mind-set coupled with a dynamic and energetic approach
