Regional Accounting Manager - Edinburgh . The Ashdown Group has been engaged by a highly respected and growing practice based in Edinburgh to assist them in their search for a new Area Accounting Team Manager. 

The role will involve leading and managing a team of Accountants and Team managers across three locations who are responsible for servicing a high volume of customer accounts. 

The successful candidate will have considerable commercial and management experience ideally in Industry and practice. As part of the senior management team it is expected that you will possess strong operational experience exercising good financial judgement and experience preparing forecasts, annual budgets, analysing variances and working to and helping develop company strategic objectives. 

You will come from a structured environment and should be accustomed to setting, following and enforcing adherence to policies and procedures. You will be comfortable working to fixed deadlines and SLA's and experienced in performance management. 

The team is established and knowledgeable, but the less experienced members of the team will depend on your guidance and advice when they are communicating with their client portfolio, so a nurturing and guiding hand is required. 

You will be ACCA accredited. This role will require regular travel from Edinburgh to other offices in North East and North West England.
