Oracle Systems Analyst - Birmingham - Permanent - Up to £40,000 
My client, a FTSE 250 organisation have instructed Certes to recruit an Oracle Systems Analyst. As part of the Oracle Support Team, the successful candidate will provide effective 2nd and 3rd Line support for: 

*Oracle R12 EBS 
*Interfaces with third party systems, 
*Financial Accounting Hub 
*Hyperion Financial Management and Planning 
*OBIEE/OBIA Accountabilities 
Key Accountabilities: 
*Provide Oracle Financials operational support in accordance with service standards ensuring the provision of great customer service 

*Interact with business customers to understand their business requirements and escalate any transactions that are non compliant with Financial accounting standards and the toolkit to the Application Support Manager. 

*Perform gap analysis to determine e-Business suite system configuration and development changes. 

*Create business requirements documents, system configuration documents, detailed functional design documents and test cases, user training documents and implementation documents in relation to any changes. 

*Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively organize and communicate across functional and technical lines. 

*Work with business customers, IT colleagues, OOD and Oracle Support to research, document and resolve Oracle, Hyperion and OBIEE system issues. 

*To develop and enhance reporting and analysis available from Oracle EBS using Standard Reports, FSG, XML, BI publisher and OBIEE as appropriate 

*Deliver Oracle financials user training, including new starters, refresher and additional functionality in conjunction with UPK 

*Provide Hyperion Financial Management and Planning Support 

*Key Oracle technical contact for all interface and customised Oracle setup. 


Essential Skills: 
*2+ years relevant experience in Oracle EBS Financials support in a similarly fast paced environment 
*Proficient in Oracle AME, XML Publisher, forms customisation, workflow, PLSQL, reports and API's 
*Knowledge of the underlying Oracle tables and interface integration points and technical skills set to support these 

*Experience prioritizing competing demands and scoping large efforts are necessary skills. 

*Experience with ad-hoc query tools (Toad, SQLPlus) and a working knowledge of SQL queries. 

*Root cause analysis and complex problem solving skills. 

*Experience analyzing request and translating business requirements into change specifications. 

Desirable Skills: 
*Knowledge of the Financial Service industry 
*Oracle Application Framework (OAF) 
*Experience in engaging Oracle Support and OOD to research and resolve issues 
*Experience of using incident management software 
*Experience of working in a high pressure operational support environment
