Qualified Management Accountant 
City of London 
£250 - £300 per day - 3 months potentially to perm 

A City based investment management business are currently looking to up skill their finance function by recruiting a Qualified Management Accountant to take responsibility for the accounting and reporting for the London office for mainly their revenue based streams. 

Reporting directly into the CFO and sitting in a fairly small team, this successful institution is looking for an engaging and talented Qualified Management Accountant who is willing to roll up their sleeves and take on a role that will involve journal posting through to business partnering. Situated in their City office, responsibilities in this challenging and rewarding role will include (but not be limited to); Producing full management accounts on a monthly basis, monthly variance analysis of margin income, preparation and analysis of monthly forecast and annual budget figures and providing advice to non finance personnel on ways to improve profitability as well as taking on the half year and year end reporting and working as a business partner to the desk heads; understanding their needs and providing them with meaningful figures and then reporting on their revenue lines. 

The ideal candidate will be degree educated and hold a professional accounting qualification (either their ACA or CIMA). You must also have exposure working within a finance function within a financial services firm, preferably a wealth manager/investment manager and have a proven record of improving processes. Good working experience of a range of systems will be an advantage as well as a high level of Excel. The ability to communicate clearly and concisely with non finance members of the team and with senior management is essential.
