Salary: £42,000 - £50,000 + 25 days Holiday + Healthcare cash plan + Income protection + Company Sick pay
Company Profile:
My client is an international 1st tier supplier to manufacturers in the automotive and heavy
goods vehicle industries.
The Role:
The jobholder will be responsible for the development and maintenance of accurate and reliable
financial data, and correct application of internal and external regulations.
The finance manager will be overseeing the budgets and relevant financial reporting; managing
expenditures, credit, payroll, investments and all accounting records. The jobholder will be
proactive in ensuring the appropriate reporting of any discrepancies and implementation of
corrective and continuous improvement actions in order to improve profitability and reliability.
Successful candidate will be expected to manage and create all financial planning and
forecasting. The finance manager will be responsible for the relevance of decisions affecting
financial issues such as cost reduction, investments etc.
The jobholder will be expected to also conduct specific analysis in regards to projects,
investments, tooling and cross-functional surveys. He / She will also be responsible for
managing internal and external audits.
Key Skills:
This opportunity will be best suited for a candidate with Accounting, Finance or Economics
qualifications or equivalent at Level 6 or above (Bachelors degree level) or equivalent on-the-job
experience in manufacturing sector.
To succeed in this position candidates must be autonomous, have professional attitude, respect
confidentiality and be proactive in all internal and external communications.
We are looking for excellent communication and relationship building skills, excellent decision
making abilities, analytical thinking and problem solving abilities.
Successful candidate will have the ability to remain calm under pressure and tight deadlines.
Experience of SAP and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is essential to be successful in
this position. Any experience of working within automotive Tier 1 or 2 suppliers would be
advantageous but not essential.
