The Role Part Qualified/Finalist - Warrington

We are currently recruiting for an experienced part qualified Assistant Accountant to work closely with an exciting and growing company based in Warrington for a 6-7 month contract. They are currently experiencing rapid growth and are looking for an experienced part qualified to help out with busy workload for a 6-7 month contract. Ideally you will have experience with the following duties:

Prepare detailed monthly report with key variances to budget and forecasts explained thoroughly

Monthly Capex and P&L forecasts

Strong Stakeholder Management & Communication Skills required

Ensure areas of responsibility adhere to deadlines

Production of management reports identifying key cost / sales variances and implement corrective actions

Clear understanding of overheads and overall cost base

Run inter-company process

Reconciling month end

Running, Analysing P&L

Attending monthly meetings

Analysing sales reports

Balance sheet reconciliations

Preparing management accounts

The Profile

As an Assistant Accountant you will have experience of:

· Strong systems knowledge

· Comfortable working within a fast paced working environment

· Good excel skills

· Team player

· Self-starter, works own initiative and proactive

· Part Qualified and active studier - preferably at final stages

· Challenge and question accounting treatments

· Problem solving

· Self-management, able to manage the time effectively to meet long term goals set by senior levels of management and their board of directors

This company is working with Robert Half exclusively and is looking for an experienced assistant accountant to operate within a dynamic finance function based in Warrington. They are looking for someone who has experience across the finance function and can add value to the business.

This is a temp to perm opportunity looking to pay an initial hourly rate of up to £18 LTD
