A Top 20 Accountancy Firm based in Central London is offering an opportunity for an experienced ACCA Part Qualified or AAT Qualified Management Accountant to join their growing team. Some of the day to day tasks are:

• Providing bookkeeping, management accounting, UK VAT and related services, on a regular basis, to a portfolio of clients
• Preparing of VAT returns, EC sales lists, Intrastat returns
• Manage own portfolio of work and liaise with clients and other member of team
• Ensuring delivery of reporting in line with client / HM Revenue & Customs / statutory deadlines
• Reconciliation of all major control accounts, the preparation of notes and draft management reporting for review
• Managing a team of 3 staff members
• Actively contribute to the development and processes of the department

The ideal candidate will demonstrate knowledge and skills in the fallowing:

• A basic knowledge of Corporation and Personal Taxation
• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Preparation of VAT returns
• All round accounting skills, reconciliations and control accounts, journal adjustments
• Financial administration for example: bank mandates, letter writing skills, drafting budgets statutory returns of information
• Comfortable with their IT skills, adaptable to new software and experienced in Excel
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills - candidates need to be self motivated dynamic and with confidence to ask questions at any level. A meticulous eye for detail and pride in their work is also essential
• Calm professional approach and good teamworking skills - able to bond into a hard working, organised but lively team
• Part Qualified ACCA or Qualified AAT
