A FTSE listed Real Estate Investor seeks the talents of an experienced Corporate Accountant / Finance Manager with financial or management accounting experience for a new permanent appointment.
The firm are a top tier organisation who were very active in the market last year with a high profile acquisition and now need to bolster their Group Finance function in their London office.
This role is perfect for someone who is looking to combine accounting skills with business management skills.
Responsibilities include:
* Reviewing and challenging monthly management accounts as prepared by the outsourcers, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheet, variance analysis and commentaries;
* Assisting with the Group consolidation reporting on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis;
* Reporting back to the Heads of Offices the financial results of each entity;
* Establishing processes and controls for new corporate entities;
* Responsible for ensuring tax filings are complete;
* Assist with the quarterly budgeting and forecasting process and implement the new delegated authorities procedures across the Group;
* Develop revised product profitability model able to assess product performance and employee time allocations;
* Ensure consistency across the group in all financial matters and adhering to Group policy;
* Interpreting and communicating financial data to non- financial managers across the business;
* Ensuring statutory and regulatory requirements are met for the respective entities;
* Co-coordinating the local annual and interim audits;
* Lead ad-hoc projects working to tight deadlines;
* Assist with acquisition accounting, policy gap analysis, integration of policies and procedures;
* Assisting on other ad-hoc projects
We're looking for a Qualified Accountant with 1-3 years industry experience in a financial or management account role . It's likely you'll have a broad technical skills base, with excellent communication skills, an outgoing personality and the ability to develop and manage relationships with people at all levels. The ability to hit the ground running in this role is absolutely crucial.
